Just a few weeks ago a team of inspired musicians, visual artists, synth heads and electronic gurus gathered together to collaborate and create a live performance of an immersive sound and visual perspectives. Which was set in a spacious yurt located in a natural forest. YurtaCalypse event meant to have several hours long performance linked with modern sound rituals and ceremonies in a single vibe. Cast of musicians and performers came from diverse ethnic cultural roots performed and improvised to weave the heritage of folk motives with contemporary synth sounds and beyond. The entire event was broadcasted live via MakerPark Radio – makerparkradio.nyc far from main roads or highways.
